by circulating pre-paid gift cards to be spent at local businesses, to
help combat the cost of living as well as boosting local economy, as we
recover from the pandemic.
How to activate your gift card
To activate your Scotland Loves Local Argyll and Bute Gift Card, please
enter the 6-character unique activation code sent to you. This code is
case-sensitive, so please enter it exactly as it appears on your letter.
How does the Scotland Loves Local Argyll and Bute Gift Card work?
Once you have both letters and you have completed the activation process
it will work like any other gift card. You will have £120 in total to redeem
against goods and services within registered businesses.
How do I activate my Scotland Loves Local Argyll and Bute Gift Card?
Insert your ‘16’ digit gift card number and your ‘6’ alpha/numeric activation
code contained in the first letter that arrived from Argyll and Bute Council
Your activation code is made up of 6 characters and will consist of letters
and numbers only
This code is case sensitive, so please enter it exactly as it appears
on your letter
When do I need to activate my Scotland Loves Local Argyll and Bute Gift card by?
You have 3 months from the date you receive your gift card to activate
it for use.
What happens if I don’t activate my Scotland Loves Local Argyll and Bute Gift Gift Card within 3 months of receiving it?
Your card will be disabled, and you will not be able to spend the gift
card value £120.
When do I need to spend my Scotland Loves Local Argyll and Bute Gift Card by?
Your gift card will be valid for a period of 12 months from the date of
activation. Thereafter any remaining balance will be lost.
Where can I spend my Argyll and Bute Gift Card?
Once you have activated your Scotland Loves Local Argyll and Bute Gift
Card, you will be able to spend it at any participating business across
the city. Over 150 businesses of all sizes are registered to receive payments

How do I check what is the balance on my Scotland Loves Local Argyll and Bute Gift Card?
The instructions for how you can check the balance of your gift card are
written on the reverse of the card:

loaded with £120. You can now spend your gift card with participating businesses
across the Argyll and Bute Council area.

An unknown error occurred. To successfully activate your gift card, please
enter your 6-character unique activation code (contained in the first letter
sent to you by Argyll and Bute Council) and the 16-digit gift card number
that you can find on the back of your physical gift card. Please check
both, and try again.
This gift card has been activated already. Once activated, your gift card
cannot be activated again. Please check your gift card balance at getmybalance.com
